The Anubis
We’re starting small and with intent. The Anubis is our first offering. Designed from the ground up to quickly spin drum lugs in and out like a top for faster head changes. Our keys are crafted to be high quality, professional tools, proven by material selection and the refinement of our manufacturing process. While also tipping the hat to our artistic side with durable laser marked artwork on all of our models. The Anubis is a new approach to drum keys as more than just a cheap wrench we use, or a piece of art we try to use. Join us in expecting more from drum keys.
The Dynasty Series
COMING SOON!!! Using the reliable chassis of the Anubis, the Dynasty Series drum keys are designed in conjunction with an artist to offer a customized look inspired by that artist. Beyond the unique artwork reflecting that individual drummer, the profits of the Dynasty Series Drum Keys are donated to a cause or charity of said artist’s choosing. We’re trying to help spread the love of drums in anyway we can, and hopefully these drum keys can make a small difference.
Unlike most drum keys on the market that are cast, the Anubis has a fully machined chassis and components. Tool functionality was of upmost importance when designing. Made with 440c Stainless Steel, this key is tough while maintaining good corrosion resistance. Heat treated to maintain the machined socket geometry lug after lug. 642 Bronze was used for the thumb spline and cross bar weights. Assembled for a lifetime of use. These Drum keys have the thumb spline pressed and cross pinned to the chassis. To avoid galling on the stainless steel cross bar, we cold weld it into place using liquid nitrogen. This ensures a perfectly centered, permanently bonded cross bar. To increase the inertia of the Anubis, we added cross bar weights to quickly cork-screw drum lugs in and out like no key you’ve used before. And Finally, inside the socket is a magnet that keeps this key as stoic and present on your drum as the deity that shares its namesake. Anubis. Laser marked with a Scarab Green body and Light Anubis head. The laser annealing used for the Scarab green is bespoke to each key, flowing between greens and yellows with the grain structure of the steel.
Includes: 1 Drum Key, 1 soft case, 1 Authenticity Card for Batch and Key Serial Number.
Proudly made in Colorado. We offer a lifetime warranty on the chassis and components of this key, and a limited warranty on the artwork. These drum keys are intended to be road worthy functional art. Scratches, dents, and patina are to be expected, tool failures are not.
