Laser marked with Seshen Purple Body and Light Anubis head. The laser annealing used for the Seshen Purple is bespoke to each key, soft reds and blues coalesce with the grain structure of the steel to make a deep purple. The Hie-Bar raises the location of the cross bar on the chassis for a more traditional feel in hand and use.

Unlike most drum keys on the market that are cast, the Anubis has a fully machined chassis and components. Tool functionality was of upmost importance when designing. Made with 440c Stainless Steel, this key is tough while maintaining good corrosion resistance. Heat treated to maintain the machined socket geometry lug after lug. 642 Bronze was used for the thumb spline and cross bar weights. Assembled for a lifetime of use. These Drum keys have the thumb spline pressed and cross pinned to the chassis. We cold weld the cross bar into place using liquid nitrogen. This ensures a perfectly centered, permanently bonded cross bar. To increase the inertia of the Anubis, we added cross bar weights to quickly cork-screw drum lugs in and out like no key you’ve used before. And Finally, inside the socket is a magnet that keeps this key as stoic and present on your drum as the deity that shares its namesake. Anubis.

Includes: 1 Drum Key, 1 soft case, 1 Authenticity Card for Batch and Key Serial Number. Each and every drum key is laser etched with its own unique SN.

Proudly made in Colorado. We offer a lifetime warranty on the chassis and components of this key, and a limited warranty on the artwork. These drum keys are intended to be road worthy functional art. Scratches, dents, and patina are to be expected, tool failures are not.

Selling keys helps us to give more keys away! Gifting our keys for fundraising and promoting the art of drumming in whatever way we can is our goal. Every key we sell helps us give more keys away to help inspire the next generation. Contact us for more information.
